*PHONE NOTEs:
1. We will return ALL phone messages that have an understandable return phone number, so please speak slowly, clearly and audibly. If you make a phone call from a cel phone and happen to get our answering machine, MAKE SURE you have good service, a fully-charged phone battery and a good signal. We have received some messages lately that are scratchy, mumbled, spoken too fast or too light, and hard to understand, with an incomplete return phone number. And our landline phone DOES NOT HAVE CallerID, so don't say "Call me back on the number on your CallerID;" leave your call-back number clearly and understandably on the message, and repeat it if necessary!
2. Living in rural America with landline hardwire phones, we sometimes have phone issues during or after heavy storms or when gnawing rodents invade the roadside risers. If you try contacting us by phone and have trouble getting through, please email us. We check our emails at least three times a day.
3. If you call and leave a message, we may call back on a different number. If we do this and have to leave a message on YOUR phone, DO NOT call back on the number that shows up on your phone's CallerID -- listen to the message we leave and use our (660) 679-5807 number to get back to us.
4. As noted in #2, ours is a landline phone and, as such, will not clearly accept a text from an electronic device. Some people have tried this, and the message is scratchy and garbled, if it does come through at all. Do not attempt to send text messages to this contact phone number.
**We check our emails at multiple times during the day. On rare occasions, our internet provider has server issues, and we may not be able to reply to emails. If you do not hear back from us within 12 hours from an email you sent, it's likely a provider-server issue, so please be patient and we will respond as soon as our internet is back in operation.
